Review: Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy

Hi, welcome to another review by Jen! This review is for Mederma Stretch Mark Therapy cream.

I was very skeptical of this or any other cream claiming to reduce or completely get rid of stretch marks, but I gave it a try (desperate to get rid of pregnancy stretch marks!) and the results have been much better than I had hoped. Also, I will say it did not irritate my skin in the least.

The Run Down:

This is supposed to be used twice a day to see results. I missed an application here and there but made sure to apply at least once a day. After 3 weeks some of my stretch marks are already significantly faded (see pic above)

Some info from the manufacturer:
"Mederma® Stretch Marks Therapy is dermatologist verified, specifically formulated and clinically confirmed to reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
It reduces discoloration, enhances texture and improves softness in about four to 12 weeks.
No treatment can make stretch marks disappear completely. Yet Mederma® Stretch Marks Therapy can help greatly enhance color, texture, softness and overall appearance.
Mederma® Stretch Marks Therapy is a non prescription gel formulation, applied topically over affected areas of your skin. It aids deep scar tissue, such as stretch marks look less evident."

My Conclusion:
I'm almost to the end of this tube and I feel I can safely say I'll be re-purchasing soon! If you would like to check it out for yourself I have provided an Amazon link below. Cheers!

Review: Finulite - the End to Cellulite AM/PM

Review: Finulite - the End to Cellulite AM/PM

I have to admit I was excited to try this product because of the reviews I read however I am disappointed in the product. I should have known for the price I wasn't going to wake up & have a super model back side however I hoped it would reduce some of the bumps.

The Run Down:

I have been using revitol for about 6 months but because of my budget I needed to find a cheaper product so I gave this a shot. Lets just say it's no revitol. It has kept the appearance down some what but it is a lot more noticeable than with the other product. I have also been using this product with the massager. The plus side of this product is it doesn't have the awful smell some of the other products do. It actually smells pretty good. I also like the consistency of the product. Not a miracle worker but does ok.

My Conclusion:
The cost is great, but the results just aren't there. If you would like to get another opinion please check out the Amazon link below. Cheers!

Review: Aztec Secret - Indian Healing Clay

Review: Aztec Secret - Indian Healing Clay

This product delivers!!! I have notoriously stubborn acne & blemish prone skin; I followed the instructions on the label to a T and my skin thanked me for it! After using this for around 1 1/2 weeks my acne is beginning to clear up and my blemishes are barely noticeable. The ONLY downside is the fact that the tightening effect can initially feel a bit itchy... but the discomfort subsided as the clay dried.

Here's What I Did:

First, I used jojoba oil to clean off the dirt and makeup on my skin. They suggest mixing equal parts clay and raw apple cider or water, I used water. You are suppose to mix them together until they form a smooth paste, but I don’t have the patience, so it’s still a little clumpy. I used the end of my eco tools foundation brush to mix, they tell you not to use a metal bowl and mixing utensil, you can then use the other end of the foundation brush to apply it to your face.

Seeing my problem areas are my chin and nose, they were the only places I applied the mask. I have pretty dry skin at the moment so I didn’t really want to use the mask anywhere else. You can apply the mask as thick or thin as you like, depending on your skin and what you need. Like most masks, don’t apply this around your eyes. This is a pretty strong mask so do leave a fair bit of space around your eyes and lips.

The Run Down:

Clay masks help remove dirt, oil and toxins from the skin while tightening pores, promoting blood circulation and healing the skin. Aztec Secret claims to be ‘deep pore cleansing’ and that you can ‘feel your face pulsate’. I don’t think they’re lying, you can definitely feel the mask work, it actually does have a pulsating feeling as it dries.  This mask pulls really tightly as it dries, stronger than any other mask I’ve used, so it does leave your skin red which is expected and should disappear in 30 minutes. As it is pulling all of the impurities up to the surface it can sometimes lead to pimples forming. I really think that what this clay claims to do is true and is great for anyone wanting a deep pore cleanse or wanting to help with oily skin.

My Conclusion:

Don't let the cheap looking packaging or silly name fool you, this mask can work wonders if applied regularly. I've included a link to the amazon product page below so you can check it out and see what others have to say about it. Cheers!
